| 730 A.M. This is a psychedelic rock album with a little something extra for the night person who doesn't like to get up for work in the morning. Damn it took to long to finish. |
Some brief descriptions of each song on 7:30A.M. Intro~ The intro for this album is a piano and soft synth version of a song called Sleep written in the early 2000 period of this life when I lived on the top floor of an apartment building in the low rent area of Hollywood California. The upright piano was in my room of a two bedroom apartment shared with my roommates left unnamed but they know who they are. On loud nights of the Hollywood seen I wrote this song that represents the torment of not being able to sleep at night in the hot perpetual summer of southern California. This songs lyrics were written to reflect the unknown movement of my life and the stagnate contrast of where I felt I was at the time. Grey wolf~ Ah…..Yes Grey wolf this song is about the conflict of nature in our souls. I based this song on a children’s story actually called Grey wolf. In story of Barrington the bunny lays his life down for his fellow field mouse. Gives a gift with no strings attached. I took the story a little further and added the fact that in times of terror the ones who sometimes become our savers are our enemies. I believe in a philosophical level we all serve each other some service just like in nature. One dies for the benefit of another. Food~ (For kitty Colombo) I don’t know if you can tell from listening but this song is about homelessness in America. We did this one in a skit format and laced it with a drunken chorus. But seriously this is a problem. I lived on the street for a short time as a runaway 15 year old screw up. I used to talk to a lot of my fellow street people then some said they were just on vacation and were fine. Others were defiantly mentally disturbed left over from reaganomics. That was a long time ago but I doubt much has changed. So even though this song was done with humorous content there is a level of serious content not to be ignored when you walk by me. I’m still poor. Hey brother can you spare a beer. Civil Craft~ This song is simply about the legal system that has kept mankind in one kind of bondage or another since we first came up with the idea of domination of the finest slave on the earth. Your fellow man. The governing body in this part of the planet has become quite efficient at procuring the method or philosophy that if I tell you that you are free than you believe it to be so. The only thing saving us from the fate of the ultimate goal of the ones who love power is people here complain just enough that their will must be hidden. What would you do with freedom I suppose would be the greatest question? Blackened Eyes~ If it were to be the very moment that my life was to end how would I feel about what I did with my life? This is the question that this song asks and answers. I believe that people should reflect on this issue a little more often. If you are a person of conscience this reflection might help you put your ambitions in order of importance that my give even the bleakest life meaning. The end of Sleep trails in from the end of this song with the rain to give us a mood twist. Seven~ I dint write this song about my own experience in the world which is unusual because I feel it to be a bit of a taboo. But the story just made since to me and really seemed to fit in the story of my life on some of the underlying lyrical levels. The whole point of the story is about relationships that run too long just for the sake of being. There is no benefit but there end seems to be just as painful as the continuance. 30~ The day I Turned so………… Thirty Sucks……………… The worst birthday I ever had…………………………… Homeless, Hopeless and sad………………………… Don’t remind me…………………………… Well I wrote this song can’t be too bad……. I recorded this song that had been written from pieces of songs that I had been writing for five years or so. Then finally finished years later from when it began. Like some wild collage this song has been worked on and tampered with combined with other pieces of song and will be again for quite some time it is a testament to the order from chaos and the many emotions you can extract from different ways parts can be added together in arranging music. A.M.~ Nada………………………………… If you work for a living and live paycheck to paycheck this is a good song for the drive home. |
